FORGIVENESS IS LOVE THAT HEALS

With regards to the university shootings at Virginia Tech, I'm sure we all feel great sadness and despair. Let us not forget that we are all made of light-even those who do us harm. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families, the Virginia University, and to all of those who are made to feel vulnerable and afraid by this young man's actions. He is made of light, however it is very apparent that he forgot this.

Sending light to him, this situation, this fear, this sadness doesn't mean condoning it on any level. Instead it means ?sending light' to purify it in all ways. To surrender the condemnation, anger, and rage-all those ingredients that fueled this incident in the first place, are what's most effective for healing to take place in all ways of time. What does this mean? That we send healing energy to all the issues, intentions, confusions, and fears. We send our light to the dark. Sending light to any matter is never a waste of time or energy. In fact, it is the most effective declaration of love that we can send.

"If God's Will for you is complete peace and joy, unless you experience only this you must be refusing to acknowledge His Will. His Will does not vacillate, being changeless forever. When you are not at peace it can only be because you do not believe you are in Him. Yet He is All in all. His peace is complete, and you must be included in it. His laws govern you because they govern everything. You cannot exempt yourself from His laws, although you can disobey them. Yet if you do, and only if you do, you will feel lonely and helpless, because you are denying yourself everything. [This is the] illusion of isolation, maintained by fear." (A Course in Miracles, p. 143.)

Remember, what we focus on expands-and therefore, create more of the same. Send love, blessings, healing, and resolve; otherwise, what we react to-we become.

"Light does not attack darkness, but it does shine it away." (ACIM p.144.)

Stay focused on your heart and know you always deserve love, joy, success, and abundance!

So many of us have been trained through society, the media, and public opinion that we are inadequate, broken, and below average. We are constantly told that we should improve our looks, our thoughts, our desires, and our dreams. Then, we project lofty ideals and images in the hopes of becoming "fixed, better, or happy."

Stop doing this! Think about what you are doing! Quit buying into the "I'm inferior" game!

No matter what you look like, act like, think or do-you are perfect. Yes you are perfect! You are a hunky dory peachy keeny wowee zamboo perfect being of light! Why? Because you're more than your looks, body, mind and behavior-you're a beautiful eternal loving spirit that is so powerful, that you can create any THING or any experience you would like. How? By recognizing that your will and God's will are the same.

Therefore, no matter what public opinion says, your friends say, your co-workers say, and even your family say-stay determined! Go after, focus on and enjoy pursuing whatever it is that makes you happy! This is your God-given Divine Right---not another human's point of view! You have emotions, desires, and feelings of hope---all for a reason! TO KEEP YOU ON TASK!

Sure there are times when you'll want to scream, pull your hair out, and fight back at the annoying rhetoric that flows from your family's and friend's mouths! But the choice to recognize your worth will always become clear when you remember your DIVINE CONNECTION!

"Because your Creator creates only like Himself, you are like Him. You are part of Him Who is all power and glory, and are therefore as unlimited as He is. (ACIM p.141.)

Your will is as powerful as His because it is His. The ability to see a logical outcome depends on the willingness to see it, but its truth has nothing to do with your willingness." (ACIM p.134.)

Recognize your greatness, treasure your ability to love, and surrender all that no longer serves you-you deserve the best!
