Receiving
Dear Friend
I'm not real patient. Never have been really. When an
idea or inspiration comes to me, I want it to happen now, or better
yet-yesterday!
I am also very compulsive. I like to put in motion
acts that will bring about positive outcomes and change immediately.
So I do. I write, think, dream, create, and affirm. Hourly, daily,
for weeks, months, years......
"Oy what's it friggen' take!?" I say to myself more
often than not.
Yes, I've read all the "How to be successful" "How to
manifest" and "How to get what you really really want" books. Got
them. Know them. Do them...year after year after year.... Still, my
determination gets attacked, made fun of, ridiculed, set aside, and
often overshadowed by life's insistent hurdles. And laundry. And
sickness. And overdue bills. And ailing parents.
Staying focused and being deliberate is not easy. I
never found that it was. It seems that with every high hope comes an
opposite experience- of pain, anguish, burden, and extreme
challenge. Why? Because we are here to learn, grow, and expand
against the opposite of who we are. Plus, all that no longer serves
us, or anyone for that matter, has to bubble up to the surface to be
transmuted, cleared, and healed for the greater good of
many. ("Oh man, do I really have to be a part of
this?" Yes.)
What I've learned from books, my own experiences, and
from my Divine Team is that learning to focus on what we desire
and surrendering control is more than a knack-it's an eventual state
of our being.
How we come to realize what's important to us is
subjective---very individual. But having the courage to stay in the
game, allowing yourself the time and energy to be specific, ask, and
want, trusting that somewhere and somehow it will all work in your
favor is the really the only thing we can do-and therefore, we must.
For some silly reason, it's how our universe works.
For the lucky few, getting desired results can be
quick and easy, but for most, they are not. It takes tenacity,
perseverance, quiet longing, joy, sadness, prayer, reverence and
mostly observation-of what we're doing to promote this
trust.
Persistence really means faith-in your deservedness
and your self worth. You are here for a reason, you desire for a
reason, you expect for a reason, and you shall receive for a reason.
At the end of the day, all we can do is be aware
that we did our part by affirming our trust in this process. Faith
is blind. But is there really any other kind?
Hang in there. If I can, you can. Nothing's
impossible. Receiving is inevitable!

than common sense, it's an integral awareness of
purpose. It smells of integrity, passion and joy. And unless you
succumb to these feelings of worthiness, you will be held back,
still, and frustrated, wanting to cry.
This is merely your queue to remember to let go,
forgive yourself, and remind yourself that your changes will become
immediate. That all your prayers and misgivings will be healed and
answered. Use deliberate intentions. Speak in soft, assured tones.
Train your logical brain to recognize this truth, for harmony
already exists, on every plane, for all to enjoy. This process of
re-remembering of who you really are will lift the veil like a
silken scarf. And there you'll be, refreshed, re-energized, ready to
produce the most wonderful results the planet has ever seen-all by
knowing that it was your mere intention to receive your own worth
that peeled back the skies to reveal heaven on earth-once and for
all!
